Two weeks to do the best the Aegean can offer, sailing galore, isolated bays, marinas and villages untouched by mass tourism. A journey between different islands and each one unique, some with soft features, others more imposing. They will be days of navigation and discoveries; common feature: the sun, the crystal clear sea, authentic Greece, beautiful coves, marinas and small towns on the sea.
Boarding after 6pm. Upon your indication we will do everything to ensure that the galley is already on board.
From Paros, southward route and abeam to the first of the Microcyclades: Skinoussa (30 miles - 4/5 hours with an intermediate stop), an exclusive island, a refuge for a few large Greek shipowners who have preserved and cared for it with love, a small port and village on the hill with bars and restaurants. Beautiful bays on the coast.
From Skinoussa a nice slow sail to Amorgos (18 miles - 2/3 hours with an intermediate stop), an island that deserves at least two days, harbor or quay in the town of Katapola, visit to the most beautiful monastery of the Aegean, built in the 11th century on an incredible cliff overlooking the sea. La Chora, the village perched on the mountain is unique and worth a stop. Some bays to visit from land or by boat depending on conditions. Amorgos is an island of strong energy, a very powerful island.
We will leave Amorgos to sail upwind towards Koufonissi and Kato Koufonissi (18 miles - 3/4 hours with an intermediate stop), two jewels with the most beautiful beaches in the Aegean. “Soft” islands where you get around on foot and cars almost don't exist. Bars with music and atmosphere in the town and along the beaches will make the island of Koufonissi unforgettable, here too at least two days should be dedicated, do not miss the night at anchor in Pori with dinner in a charming restaurant on the beach, another night should dedicated to the town with its clubs and restaurants.
From Koufonissi, a long sail across the open sea towards Levitha (50 miles - 6/7 hours), a very particular island, inhabited by a single family who grows and raises goats and who manages the only restaurant, strictly with local products zero.
From Levitha you sail abeam to Leros, in the bay of Panteli (25 miles - 4/4 hours), a bay to the east of Leros, here restaurants truly by the sea.
From Levitha you sail upwind to Lipsi (24 miles - 4/5 hours with an intermediate stop), a small island with a gentle coast, many bays and beaches, don't miss the rocks and caves of Macronissi, the town overlooking the small port is Cassadia bay is also enchanting, with obligatory stops and the characteristic Kalamia restaurant.
Another short sail upwind and we will be in Arki (10 miles – 2 hours), a small island with beautiful bays and turquoise waters, nearby Marathi offers shelter in a beautiful bay with three restaurants on the beach.
Short sail abeam to Patmos (12 miles - 2 hours), a jagged, worldly, fascinating island, the Chora and the town on the port are other jewels not to be missed. Here St. John wrote the Apocalypse.
From here we will go downwind to Kalymnos, Palionisos bay (30 miles - 4/5 hours with intermediate stop), a deep gulf, between high rock walls, with two beautiful beaches and two restaurants on the banks.
Last sailing downwind to the port of Kalymnos (12 miles – 2 hours with intermediate stop), night in port in Kalymnos.
