Ras Za'atar is the name of the promontory that delimits the south to the Marsa Bereika bay. The dive site takes the same name, and begins at a madreporic pinnacle surmounted by a tubular acropora located at approximately 21 meters deep.
Then it continues along the wall which is wonderfully covered with multicolored Alcyonaceans, with gorgonians curiously arranged horizontally, and with colonies of black coral.
But the splendid wall of Ras Za'atar it is not the only point of interest of this dive. At a depth of 10-15 meters, two spectacular chimneys rise towards the surface into which the sun's rays enter and illuminate the fauna of the ravines, such as lionfish municipalities, i golden glass fish, and some large grouper.
