``ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER`` COURSE
ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE
Advanced Open Water Diver
Exploration, excitement, experiences.
That’s what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about!
And you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed so you can go straight into it after completing the PADI Open Water Diver course.
The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you build confidence and enhance your scuba diving skills, making you feel much more comfortable in the water. It’s an excellent way to do more dives while continuing to learn under the supervision of your Dive In Instructor.
You can earn academic credits with this course.
This course is based on what you have already learned and develops new skills by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun underwater. You’ll refine your abilities by completing five Adventure Dives that introduce you to:
✔ Underwater navigation
✔ Deep diving (typically between 18 and 30 meters)
✔ A taste of three or more Adventure Dives of your choice
The fun part: you get to choose
One of the reasons you’ll love the Advanced Open Water Diver course is that you and your Dive In Instructor will choose the Adventure Dives needed to complete the course from a list of 15 different options.
You can try underwater digital photography, wreck diving, night diving, sea scooter diving, peak performance buoyancy, and many more.
Earn credits: each Adventure Dive in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course can be credited towards the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty course.
What you’ll learn:
How fun diving is
- Considerations on scuba equipment for the local diving environment
- How to plan and conduct actual dives
- How to prevent and manage problems
Advanced Open Water Diver Online
The Advanced Open Water Diver Online course will allow you to start immediately with the basic information you need for seven of the most popular Adventure Dives (but you and your Dive In Instructor can always choose any Adventure Dive).
