Discover Scuba Diving

Do you want to experience what it feels like to breathe underwater? Do you think, with good reason, that your vacation in the Red Sea wouldn’t be complete without trying to see what lies beneath the surface of the sea?

Don’t have time or don’t feel ready to commit to a certification course yet? Discover Scuba Diving is for you. It will allow you to try diving and see if you enjoy it.

While it is not a full certification course, you will quickly learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow waters and get a brief and easy introduction to the underwater world. With Dive In, you will complete the program in a pool and/or in the ocean, always under the guidance of qualified instructors.

The fun part

There’s nothing quite like breathing underwater for the very first time. It doesn’t take long, and after a few exhilarating minutes of wonder, most participants realize how easy scuba diving really is with the regulator.
The fun part?

The biggest challenge for Discover Scuba Diving instructors is not getting participants into the water, but getting them out when the program is over!

Earn credit! If your Discover Scuba Diving program includes an actual open water dive, you may be credited towards the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certification – another advantage when you decide to complete a full course.

What you’ll learn

  • You’ll learn the basics needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Dive In professional.
  • You’ll discover how it feels to wear scuba equipment and how easy it is to move underwater with it.
  • You’ll discover what it feels like to breathe underwater and how easily you can do it.
  • You’ll learn some basic skills and safety rules that will be useful in your complete certification course.

 

The scuba diving equipment you’ll use:

You’ll use all the basic scuba diving equipment that is included in the course.

✔ The mask, snorkel, and fins. You’ll also use a buoyancy control device to carry your tank, a regulator that provides you with air, a weight system, and instrumentation to monitor depth and air supply. Additionally, you’ll wear a wetsuit to protect you from the cold.

✔ You just need your enthusiasm and normal attention.

Prerequisites:

To participate in the Discover Scuba Diving program, you must be at least 10 years old.

Your next adventure:

Once you have completed the Discover Scuba Diving program, you can continue with the Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver certification courses.
