RAS MOHAMED MARINE PARK - SNORKELING EXCURSION
Snorkeling by land
Ras Mohammed is the southernmost promontory of the Sinai Peninsula, but one word is not enough to describe this territory. It is indeed a unique ecosystem in the world, encompassing desert plains, dunes, wadis, mountain ranges, mangrove trees, and an exceptionally rich coral reef.
A place with these characteristics could not go unpreserved, and so in 1983 the Egyptian Government created its first National Park here, initially covering 97 square kilometers, and today, with the addition of other territories, it encompasses a protected area of 480 square kilometers. With 218 species of corals and over 1000 species of fish, Ras Mohammed National Park is a delight for those who want to explore its waters.
Dive In offers you a half-day excursion to take a couple of swims in this underwater paradise, while also enjoying the irresistible charm of the desert.
You will arrive by land, either by bus or private car, crossing rocky masses consisting of fossilized corals dating back to the Pleistocene.
With these means, we will also have the opportunity to visit other points of interest such as the “salt lake” now known as the “magic lake,” a highly saline body of water with a high concentration of lead that makes it undetectable by satellites.
It doesn’t get more magical than this…
The excursion to Ras Mohammed National Park lasts approximately 4 hours and the price includes: transfer (by bus or minibus with air conditioning), entrance fee to the dive sites, guide, and necessary equipment.
